CONCEPT
Whereas the Unit Trust is a portfolio shared amoungst many clients, the concept behind the Managed Equity Portfolio is that it each client has his/her own portfolio. In this manner the client can see the investments which are contained in their portfolio and follow the individual transactions that are carried on it. The portfolio is changed as the conditions of the market change but the mandate remains an equity based on and as such the portfolio is managed within the realm of the stock market. Within reason portfolios may be customised within the expectations and needs of the client.
Datvest currently has over 700 such clients which are both corporate and individual.
DEPOSIT/WITHDRAWAL FEES
An administration fee of 0.5% on any deposit and 1% on any withdrawal is charged in order to discourage clients from utilising the facility as a banking facility.
MANAGEMENT FEES
Management fees of 2% per annum are levied on a monthly basis. This works out to a charge of 0,1667% being charged at the beginning of every month on the prior end of month account balance.
