INDUSTRIALS

The industrial index gained 0.13 points (0.10%) to close at 143.73 points. NATFOODS gained 2 cents to trade at 85 cents, DELTA inched up 1.50 cents to 71 cents and TA was a cent firmer at 17 cents. CBZ rose 0.69 cents to settle at 12.20 cents whilst FIDELITY LIFE advanced 0.49 cents to close at 13.50 cents. ARISTON and TN HLDS were both 0.20 cents firmer at 1.20 cents and 4 cents respectively. However, ABCH lost 3.50 cents to trade at 66.50 cents; SEEDCO eased 3 cents to settle at 115 cents while TURNALL slipped 1.30 cents to 10.50 cents. BAT was down a cent at 169 cents, BARCLAYS and M&R both retreated 0.50 cents each to trade at 5.50 cents and 12.50 cents in that order.

MININGS

The mining index closed at 136.69 points after gaining 0.02 points (0.01%). RIOZIM gained 0.05 cents to trade at 50 cents, while BINDURA, FALGOLD and HWANGE were unchanged at previous levels.
